The Brief:	To create a quieter environment to enable better learning outcomes for students.
Structural floor type:	Timber joist
Products used:	GenieMat RST05, PhoneStar and Decoupling plate.

Creating a quieter environment to enhance student focus and learning outcomes was the objective of this classroom design. To achieve this, the architect carefully selected a combination of high-performance acoustic products:

GenieMat RST05 – A resilient underlayment designed to reduce impact noise.
PhoneStar Tri – A sand-filled soundproofing board to control airborne noise.
Decoupling Plate – A key component to prevent direct sound transmission.
Finished Floor Covering: Carpet Tile.
