Installation & support
Phonestar boards are easily cut using any standard cutting power tools (jig saw, skill saw, etc.) or simply a craft knife. A small amount of sand trickles out as the board is cut. The cut end is then sealed using Phonestar tape before being installed.
Woodland Acoustics does not provide installation services, please refer to our preferred installers page for more information.
Only floating floors can be installed directly over Phonestar boards. When installing glue-down floors, e.g. tiles, timber, sheet vinyl, our 4mm decoupling plate must first be glued onto the phonestar boards.
