Welcome to a new era of soundproofing

As our living and working environments evolve, the need to reduce sound transmission in homes, offices, and Airbnb properties has become increasingly important.

Whether you’re building from scratch or enhancing an existing space, ensuring quiet, comfortable areas is crucial.

Our soundproofing solutions focus on using dense materials to combat impact sound—like footsteps—and airborne sounds such as music, conversations, and television that travel through floors and walls.

Soundproofing Applications

Flooring

PhoneStar can be applied underneath the flooring. Our Decoupling Plate will be required if the final flooring covering is glued down.

Walls

PhoneStar can be fixed to walls using a drywall screw. Any gaps must be filled with an acoustic sealant.

Ceiling

PhoneStar is able to be installed in ceilings, this can help with noise transfer coming from upstair neighbours.

Installation

Measure

Plan your install, PhoneStar sheet sizes are 1200 x 800mm. For best results, you want to ensure the boards will be a firm fit as gaps will reduce the products effectiveness.

Cut & Tape

PhoneStar can be cut with a saw or knife. All cut edges must be sealed with PhoneStar tape. Make sure to hold untaped boards level to event sand spilling out.

Install

PhoneStar is fixed to walls using standard drywall screws. After installation, seal any gaps with an acoustic sealant before lining the final wall covering.
